Explore A.A. Milne’s timeless classic on our private Winnie-the-Pooh tour

Ashdown Forest and the charming village of Hartfield are central locations in the tales of Winnie-the-Pooh. It was here that the classic adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, Christopher Robin, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and all their friends were set. And these timeless stories continue to inspire children and adults throughout the world today. (Bookworms among you may also wish to consider another of our tours exploring literary England, our day trip to Charles Dickens’ Rochester.)

Imagine stepping onto the pages of an A.A. Milne book and meeting Christopher Robin and his family at Ashdown Forest in the idyllic county of East Sussex – well, you can! On our private Winnie-the-Pooh tour, you will delve straight into the iconic world of Pooh Bear.

Together with your expert guide, you will get to visit Pooh Corner, a quaint shop where you and your family can see and buy ‘Pooh-phernalia’. You can indulge in a delightful spot of lunch at Piglet’s tea room. And you will explore the collections of the Pooh’seum, the world’s first museum dedicated to A.A. Milne’s creations.

We will then venture into Ashdown Forest and walk to the iconic Pooh Sticks Bridge. There you can play ‘Poohsticks’ and reenact one of the most famous episodes from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories at the exact location where it was set.
