An Unforgettable Guided Walking Tour of Royal London…

We’ll walk along Whitehall and past many significant places of the UK’s government and monarchy, many of which were featured in the first series of The Crown: Horse Guards; The Cabinet Office; 10 Downing Street; The Cabinet War Rooms; Parliament Square.

We’ll admire Westminster Palace (Parliament) and Westminster Abbey at Parliament Square – the holy site of coronations, royal weddings and state funerals.

After walking by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and The Churchill War Rooms, we’ll head through St James’s Park, to take in some tranquillity in the heart of the metropolis.

We will see Lancaster House, where many scenes of The Crown were filmed, Clarence House and, of course, 500-year-old St. James’s Palace at Pall Mall.

After taking in the splendour of Buckingham Palace, we stroll through leafy Green Park and on to Piccadilly, Soho, and Theatreland.

Picking out some cultural landmarks around Theatreland, we’ll discuss their links to the story of Princess Margaret’s courtship with Antony Armstrong-Jones, featured in series two of The Crown.

As we conclude the tour at Covent Garden, we’ll talk about the royal love of the dramatic arts, admiring locations featured in The Crown such as the Theatre Royal and the Lyceum Theatre.

If you’re captivated by England’s kings and queens, please also explore our Private Tours of South East England, many of which visit former royal homes and tell the stories of the country’s famous (and occasionally infamous) monarchs.
